Ian Hosfeld

Ian Hosfeld has worked as a professional illustrator for over ten years. After getting his BFA from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago he has worked as a storyboard artist for film and commercials and as a concept artist with Activison for such titles as Spider-Man and James Bond. In 2008 Ian published a creator-owned comic series with Image Comics and is currently working on a graphic novel.

Will Freyre

Will Freyre is the owner and Creative Director of Definition Advertising Co.  With over 15 years of experience as a working creative professional, Will has been responsible for designing and directing award-winning campaigns for top brands such as Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, SC Johnson, Wachovia, Gallo Wineries, M&M/Mars, and many others.  Prior to launching Definition, Will worked as a Sr. Art Director at Zubi Advertising in Coral Gables, co-founding the agency’s Digital Division and helping evolve it into their Integrated Marketing Division.  Seasoned in providing premium creative for a variety of media, Will is also an active community leader, and serves on the marketing committee of City Year Miami.

Bobby Novoa

Bobby Novoa is an experienced Interactive Art Director with over 7 years experience in the field. Over the past 7 years he’s been responsible for brainstorming, designing, and directing for large and small clients alike. He’s worked for multiple local agencies in the past and is currently employed at BGT Partners. Brand Experience includes: Apple, Toyota, Lexus, Scion, Britney Spears, Sony, Mozilla, 4KidsTv, Florida International University, Carnival Cruise Line, and Amtrak.

Rafael Tapanes

Rafael Tapanes founded Reelization Inc. in 1997 specializing in rendering and animations and in 2003 founded The Realization Group which offers both computer and scale model services to real estate developers, architects and interior designers. Over the past 15 years he has visualized billions of dollars in real estate properties. Projects have included high and mid-rise residential properties as well as single-family homes, commercial/retail and religious projects.

Rafael Tapanes is a member of the American Institute of Architects. He graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelors in Architecture and later obtained a Masters in Architecture and Computers. His university thesis led him to explore the use of prototyping in the field of architecture. His firm, The Realization Group, piloted the use of 3D printing machines for use in visualizing building structures. Mr. Tapanes has been featured in Architectural Record and numerous publications for his research in this area. He has also been an adjunct professor at the University of Miami for the past 8 years.

Rony Cinco

Rony Cinco has worked as a professional Art Director / Illustrator for 10 years in the advertising industry. He has worked with many local ad agencies and design studios on interactive, print, and Illustration projects. He worked as a Sr. Interactive Art Director at Zubi Advertising in Coral Gables. He graduated with a BA in Graphic Design from Miami International University of Art & Design. Some of he’s work has been featured in HOW Design Magazine and DesignBoom.com.

Hector Camps

Prof. Hector Camps, who holds Master of Architecture and Master of Management degrees from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and who was part of the inaugural class that launched the Product Architecture Lab at Stevens Institute of Technology.

Prof. Camps initiated the Building Information Modeling foundation class at Florida International University and teaches Virtual Design and Construction at Miami Dade College. He is also the founder of the Digital Design Lab, a research lab funded by Dade County Public Schools, which provides an access point to high school students and adult learners.

In addition to his activities in business and academia,
Prof. Camps serves on the Board of Direction for the Building SMART Alliance, representing research and testing for the organization.

Miguel Oubina

Miguel is responsible for all aspects of educating IGDA South FL members and students on character creation for the IGDA Unreal Engine 3 Worldwide Level Design Contest using 3D Studio max in a classroom setting. Miguel graduated with a BA from Florida Atlantic Univeristy’s Computer Arts Program. While working towards his degree he also worked for Navteq’s Mapper division. While at Mapper he was responsible for creating 3D buildings & textures for use with Navteq’s realtime 3D GPS systems. From college he went on to found Nuclei, Inc. which has worked with several hi profile clients. He also teaches game design at Miami Dade College and American Intercontinental University.

Michael Sabates

Michael Sabates graduated from Full Sail University with a bachelor’s degree in computer animation in 2007. He received 2 Course director’s Awards in Computer Animation Production. After graduation he worked for 3 years as a successful freelance. For the last 2 years he has been working with Spine3D and further refining his 3d talents. Some of his award-winning work has been recently published in 3D World magazine.

Gloria Gonzalez

Gloria Gonzalez graduated  Magna Cum Laude from Florida International University with a bachelors in Architectural Design in 2006. She has 4 years of professional work experience as a Sr. Production Artist for Spine 3D. She has been a NAPP Member since 2007  (National Association of Photoshop Professionals) and has assisted in writing a Photoshop tutorials for 3D World magazine.

Tony Como

Tony Como graduated from Miami International University of Art and Design with bachelors in Visual Effects and Motion Graphics. He has 5  years of experience in the digital media industry. 5 of which have been at Spine3D. Tony is also an avid rock climber.
